Join us for fellowship and fun as we raise funds to support the Lakewood Manor Endowed Fund for Benevolence. The 2015 benefit golf tournament will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Independence Golf Club in Chesterfield. Registration fees include greens and cart fees, box lunch and dinner. VISA gift card prizes are awarded to winners. Registration opens at 10:00 a.m. with free range balls. Shotgun start is at 12:30 p.m.
Each year, Virginia Baptist Homes provides nearly $1 million in benevolent support to residents at our four communities who have outlived their financial resources. Our current benevolent funding is sufficient to cover these needs in the near term, but with longer life spans and rising health care costs, the need grows greater every year. Building the principal in the communities’ endowed funds ensures that we will be able to fulfill our benevolent ministry in the future.
Contact Virginia Baptist Homes Foundation at (804)521-9212 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Residents of Lakewood will be getting in a little practice before the tournament using Lakewood’s putting green. The green was installed by Southwest Greens using eco-friendly artificial products that have been endorsed by Jack Nicklaus and other to PGA golfers. Lakewood’s putting green includes 5 strategically placed cups and pins and some challenging elevations too. Two separate chipping platforms are included, along with some putters and a bucket of balls. The residents are looking for the participating in this year’s tournament.
